The Lake County Master Gardeners Association, Inc.(LCMGA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, incorporated for the purpose of offering research-based guidance and solutions in response to the needs of the public for horticultural and environmental information.
Our Mission and our Motto is “Helping Others Grow.”
Join us for the 24th Annual Lake County Master Gardeners Plant Sale on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fine Arts Building, Lake County Fairgrounds, Crown Point, IN. This much-anticipated spring tradition raises funds for scholarships and grants while offering a wide variety of plants for every garden—annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, native plants, houseplants, trees, shrubs, bulbs, and hanging baskets. Many are grown and donated by our own Master Gardeners, who will be on hand to answer questions and help you choose the right plants for your space. Don’t miss our popular “Trash to Treasures” area featuring gently used gardening tools, décor, books, pots, and more, or our gardening demo at 11 a.m. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, there’s something for everyone. Cash, check, and credit cards accepted (note: small surcharge applies to credit purchases).
