The Lake County Master Gardeners are deeply grateful for the community support helping bring our new Demonstration Gardens to life at Purdue Extension in Crown Point.
In recent months, we’ve received generous contributions and a grant from NiSource, Gather and Grow, LLC, and the Crown Point Community Foundation.
Together, these gifts are helping us create educational and inclusive garden spaces that highlight sustainable practices, accessibility, and the power of community collaboration.
💚 Thank you to our supporters for helping us grow!

Our Master Gardeners are collecting and sharing native and locally adapted seeds to encourage sustainable gardening across Lake County.
Each seed packet lists the plant name — and you’ll find full details, growing tips, and bloom information right here on our website.
